Initial Consultation

1. "Your Style" Interview (general space and furniture assessment):
    
• It's time to learn as much about you and the lifestyle you want translated in your home design project.
   
• Measuring the room and helping you to visualize the big picture for a particular space in your home, inside or out.
   
• Evaluate your furniture and accessories.
   
2. Quick Design Solutions
    
• Together, we will consider placement of your current furniture or suggest new furniture that will compliment your existing pieces you want to keep in the room.
   
3. Suggestions of Local Shops and Sources for Your Purchases
    
• Not only will we provide you with pictures of our suggestions but you will also be given a shopping list for furniture (size, style, type…) and recommendations for lighting, window treatments, wall treatments & flooring based on "Your Style" Interview.
   

Additional Rates and Services

1. Interior Design Fee - $75 per hour
   
   We will develop a concept for your space. "Concept" refers to the creative process of developing your style or atmosphere for your space. As your Interior Designer, we consider:
    
• Function - the practical use of your space. What will you be using this space for?
   
  
• Proportion and Scale - the size of the furniture in the room in proportion to the size of the room. For example, when you have oversized furniture for a relatively small room, your room will feel even smaller than it actually is.
   
  
• Balance - Are there elements in your space that may visually weigh the room down? We can find solutions to give your room equilibrium.
   
  
• Diversity - Give your space enough variety to keep your room interesting.
   
  
2. Custom Furniture and Cabinetry (quote per project)
   
   Did you know Interior Designers are able to design your custom furniture and/or cabinets?
   
   We work closely with manufacturers (a cabinetry or upholstery shop) who then build/construct the item per our specifications. There are some designers who specialize in a chosen field (i.e. furniture designers, kitchen and bath designers, lighting designer, etc.). You may request a custom made piece of furniture and we can advise you on style, color, etc.
    
   
3. Space Planning - $75 per hour
    
   
• First, measure your space or room and furniture.
   
  
• Then, evaluate the scale of your furniture in the room to see if it's too small or large for your space... especially after evaluating what furniture you want to keep.
   
  
• You'll receive a room arrangement recommendation to create balance and flow in the room while emphasizing the room's purpose and function
   
  
4. Drafting / AutoCAD - $55 per hour
    
• You'll receive prepared floor plans, elevations and any other technical drawings.
   
  
5. Research and Find - $35 per hour
    
   
• Product research – certain products like high-end plumbing fixtures and top-of-the-line appliance are highly engineered and require close evaluation to make sure it will comply with the design in your room.
   
  
6. Furniture and Accessory Scouting - $65+ per hour
    
   
7. Project Management Fee - $65 per hour
   
   Project Management between clients and project team (subcontractors, architects, plumbers, etc...).
   
   Communication is vital to a projects success especially if there is a delay due to weather or any other unforeseen condition or event.
   
   We can manage bids from contractors to ensure you receive the best quality for the price.
   
   We make sure the design (for built-ins, installations, etc.) is implemented and delivered by the contractors/vendors per our specifications and on schedule.
